Christmas – already!

Thursday, December 2nd, 2010

Hello there!

So Christmas is almost upon us, our tree is up, the decorations are out and the advent calendars are open. Just need to get the presents! If you are doing your shopping online and fancy some notebooks, you’ll need to get your orders in by December 20th to guarantee delivery in time (that’s assuming the snow has gone and everything is back to normal!).

If you are going to brave the weather and do ‘proper’ shopping remember you can get pumpkinsputnik goodies in lots of lovely shops and galleries now including The Glasgow Print Studio (Trongate 103), Hannah Zakari (Edinburgh), the Made in the Shade Maisonette (Glasgow West End), Peter Potter Gallery (Haddington), Shire Hall Gallery (Stafford), Chapel Gallery (Ormskirk), The Byre Theatre (St Andrews) and the Kirsteen Stewart Boutique (Orkney). And from next week until Christmas there will also be a selection of stuff at a pop-up shop in Kirkcaldy at 2 Whytescauseway.

Happy Shopping!

New stuff for 2010

Friday, April 16th, 2010

So I thought it was about time I did some new designs. These old hydrangeas survived the harsh winter and all the snow and cold and still managed to look beautiful – all brown and delicate and skeletonised. I’ve played with the photos a bit as usual, and I’m really pleased with the results. What do you think?

I have more plans for these designs, there will hopefully be lots of new products coming soon – watch this space!

hello there!

Friday, February 19th, 2010

Sorry it’s been so long! How is 2010 treating you? It’s been very busy here, I just completed a large wholesale order for the lovely ladies at the new Dancing Light Gallery in West Linton.

One of my Red Roddy notebooks was featured in a Valentines gift guide on the Guardian Website! Very exciting, and pumpkinsputnik is now on Central Station, so if you are on there already – come be my friend!

I would love to say that I’ve lots of plans for 2010, but I just haven’t had time to stop and think of them yet!! First off, I need to re-stock the online shops at etsy and folksy, then hopefully work on some new designs and new products! Watch this space :)

Gifted

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

I went to see the ‘Gifted’ exhibition at the National Museum of Scotland last Saturday, it’s lovely and definitely worth a visit. The organisers have selected a beautiful collection of work from some very talented scottish designers, and I was very honoured to have my work alongside them!

The exhibition is open until the 10th January, so still plenty of time to make it along.
